Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to join Dermatology for Animals in San Marcos, CA. No weekends! 4, 10-hour shifts!

You will support patient care with hands-on dermatology treatments and lab work, including intake, monitoring and discharge, ensuring high-quality care across visits. Thrive offers growth via ThriveU and learning workshops, with a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
• RVT (active and current) Required
• Superior/advanced technical skills
• Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
• Possesses a positive work attitude
• Self‑motivated
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $31 – $33 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
