Job summary

Qualifications

• Indiana State Licensed Veterinary Technician (or eligible) with at least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Strong client communication and patient-care skills required.
• Positive attitude, self-motivation, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure high-quality care for dogs and cats.
• Obtain health history from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Administer injections, perform venipuncture, and set IV catheters.
• Maintain clean, sterile treatment areas and labs.
• Assist with dentistry, radiography, and oral surgery support.
• Position patients for radiographs and assist with imaging.
• Utilize cold laser therapy techniques where applicable.
• Take vital signs and monitor during anesthesia and recovery.
• Prepare patients, medications, and equipment for surgery and monitor perioperative care.
• Assist with routine labs and handling emergent or specialized cases.
• Provide client counseling and compassionate nursing care.
• Mentor and support fellow team members.
