Job summary

Grace and Faye Consulting LLC is assisting a private veterinary hospital in finding a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician to join a growing team. You will provide hands-on patient care, monitor vitals, administer medications, and assist with surgeries in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include performing anesthesia under supervision, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, running in-house labs, taking radiographs, maintaining medical records, and educating clients on treatment

Qualifications

• RVT credential or eligibility required.
• Strong skills in anesthesia, catheter placement, phlebotomy, and diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and a calm, compassionate demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vitals, administering medications and treatments, and assisting with procedures.
• Place IV catheters, draw blood, and perform other technical skills within scope of practice.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and emergency procedures.
• Run and monitor anesthesia under veterinarian supervision.
• Perform diagnostic testing, including bloodwork, urinalysis, and other in-house lab work.
• Take and process radiographs and assist with other diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain accurate, detailed medical records.
• Educate and communicate with clients regarding treatment plans, home care instructions, and follow-up needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment area, adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Mentor and support veterinary assistants and support staff as needed.

Our client's private veterinary hospital is looking for a skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join their growing team! Compensation

Up to $45/hour, DOE (Level 1: $28/hr | Level 4: $45/hr)

What You'll Do:
