Job summary

Rocky River Animal Hospital in Rocky River, Ohio is seeking a skilled Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our Fear Free practice. This full-time role offers Monday–Friday schedules and a commitment to compassionate, low-stress patient care.

You will assist veterinarians, provide nursing care, perform diagnostics, and educate clients while maintaining thorough medical records using Ezy Vet software. Ohio license required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Ohio is required.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent client communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
• Perform laboratory tests, radiology, and other diagnostic procedures as needed
• Utilize Fear Free techniques to minimize stress and anxiety in patients
• Maintain accurate medical records and client communications using Ezy Vet software
• Educate clients on pet health, wellness, and post-treatment care
• Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols within the hospital

Rocky River Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled and caring Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Fear Free practice. Our team is committed to creating a calmer, more positive experience for every patient while providing high-quality veterinary medicine and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
• Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
• Perform laboratory tests, radiology, and other diagnostic procedures as needed
