We are currently looking to hire a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Alta Rancho Pet Hospital in Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $26.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
• Schedule: Full-time, 5/8-hour shifts.
• Location: 8677 19th St, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 917010

Who You Are

• 3+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant.
• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in California, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire required.
• Degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint for a variety of species.
• Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital or outdoor setting.
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare.
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Dental procedure experience, scaling, polishing, radiographs, extractions, suturing required.
• Skilled in IV catheter placement, urinary catheter placement, applying casts, bandages, and splints.
• Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre‑operative and post‑operative care.
• Laboratory skills including cytology set‑up and interpretation.
• Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound‑guided cystocentesis.
• And all other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by law.
