Job summary

SouthPark Animal Clinic in Littleton, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to support outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. The RVT will move between exam rooms and procedure areas, maintaining high standards of patient care and client communication.

The position requires 4+ years of veterinary technician experience, CO RVT license in good standing, and strong skills in anesthesia, dentistry, and lab testing.

Job description

SouthPark Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment and enjoys the variety that comes with balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, professional judgment, and communication skills they bring to every area of the hospital—helping elevate the quality of medicine, strengthen the client experience, and provide exceptional patient care.

In this position, you will play an integral role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, supporting the medical team while helping ensure each patient receives thoughtful, efficient, and compassionate care. Your ability to anticipate needs, communicate effectively, and confidently move between different areas of the hospital will help create a consistent, high-quality experience for patients, clients, and the entire care team.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Assisting in surgery
• Performing dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography
• Maintaining accurate, detailed medical records and treatment documentation
• Reviewing treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions with clients clearly and compassionately

This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $27 - $30 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a full-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, with a rotating Saturday.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 4+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standingRegistered Veterinary Technician in the state of Colorado **
