Job Description

Responsibilities include animal restraint, triage, lab sample analysis, diagnostic imaging, management of hospitalized cases, medication administration, client communication, surgical prep and assistance, and anesthetic management. Must withstand unpleasant odors/noises and potential exposure to animal waste, bites, scratches, or contagious diseases.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Veterinary Technician license; 1+ year experience preferred but not required
• Punctuality and reliability
• Some Saturday availability
• Excellent communication and record management skills
• Knowledge of veterinary procedures and hospital operations
• Expertise in animal restraint, sample collection, radiography, anesthesia, and surgical monitoring
• Commitment to ethics and continuous learning
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with animal-related hazards
