Position Skills

• Professional client communication and education
• Obtaining medical histories and symptoms
• Laboratory procedures: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, fecals
• Diagnostic imaging and safety protocols
• Nursing skills: patient restraint, medication administration (PO/IV/SUBQ/IM), bandage application, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis
