Job summary

Covenant Animal Clinic in Bellbrook, Ohio is actively seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our caring team. Responsibilities include rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood, running bloodwork, and performing radiographs with proper positioning. Excellent communication and client education are essential.

Pay Range: $19 - $23 per hour based on experience. Must hold RVT credential and a current state license.

Qualifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician credential required; license must be current.
• Experience with rooming patients, assisting in surgery, IV catheter placement, blood draws, and running bloodwork.
• Knowledge of radiography and proper positioning; client education is important.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and assist in surgical procedures.

Covenant Animal Clinic is actively looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our amazing team. We are seeking an organized, compassionate, and service-oriented Credentialed Veterinary Technician who is confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, has experience with x-ray and proper positioning, understands the importance of client education, and is a supportive and positive team player. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. The veterinary industry is constantly advancing and growing, and Covenant Animal Clinic encourages its staff to do the same. Requirements

• Registered Veterinary Technician
• State license must be current
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment is a plus. Experience working with these tools is even better
• Passion for working with animals and their owners
• Ability to learn proper animal handling, fear-free training, and restraint
• Ability to learn common treatments and processes normally found in a veterinary hospital setting
• Excellent communication and ability to gain strong organizational skills
