Kessen Veterinary Clinic in Delphos, Ohio is seeking a licensed veterinary technician to support our Companion Animal team. This role emphasizes high‑quality patient care, teamwork, and client education in a busy mixed‑practice setting.

Qualifications

• Current RVT credential in Ohio is required.
• Degree from an AVMA accredited Veterinary Technology program.
• Strong animal handling skills and clinical procedures knowledge.
• Experience monitoring anesthesia, assisting with surgery and dentistry, and performing in-house diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient care and client education.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, surgical procedures, and dentistry.
• Safely handle and restrain patients while administering medications, vaccines, and treatments.
• Monitor anesthesia and provide attentive patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Collect laboratory samples, perform in-house diagnostics, and maintain accurate medical records.
• Educate clients on preventive care, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment.
• Collaborate with the entire veterinary team to provide exceptional patient care and client service.

Kessen Veterinary Clinic is a well established mixed animal practice in Delphos, Ohio, proudly serving the community with exceptional care for companion animals and horses. While our practice offers both small animal and equine services, this Licensed Veterinary Technician position will primarily support our companion animal team.
