We offer a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience, a collaborative culture, opportunities for growth, and a schedule with weekdays and rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience with veterinary appointments, surgeries, and nursing care for hospitalized and critical patients.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of preparation, monitoring, and recovery of pets undergoing surgery and basic pet nursing.
• Ability to restrain patients and follow correct procedures in venipuncture, emergency medicine, and radiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations, assisting during surgery and operations, nursing care, and maintaining medical records.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and monitor patient responses.
• Assist with triage, discharge planning, and client communication as directed by the veterinarian.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, sterilize instruments, and manage inventory and supplies.
