Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ Spring Animal Hospital in Long Beach, CA seeks an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our small, supportive team. The RVT will support hospital operations by delivering quality veterinary care and excellent service to patients and clients.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience, and a culture that values collaboration, compassion, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Must have California RVT license.
• Strong anesthesia and patient monitoring skills.
• Experience with blood draws, IV catheters, radiographs, dentistry, treatments, and hospitalized patient care.
• Excellent client communication and compassionate care for patients.
• Reliable, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Determine animal requirements by exams and records, review care plans and tests, and perform imaging.
• Care for patients by monitoring vitals, administering medications and vaccines, and wound care.
• Assist with surgeries and handling instruments while following veterinarian directions.
• Maintain medical records and provide owner updates as directed by the veterinarian.
• Keep hospital environment safe, clean, and properly sterilized.
