Position: Registered Veterinary Technician
Status: Part-time, Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
Pay Rate: $23/hour, commensurate with experience
Location: This role will work out of our Brentwood location and our North County location (opening 2027)
Description:
Implement and maintain superior animal health standards in accordance with Animal Protective Association of Missouri policies and procedures. This position is responsible for administering medical treatments and vaccinations, assisting veterinarians in the clinic and surgery, and providing care to animals at the adoption center.

Position Requirements:
- More than one year experience in animal health or welfare preferred.
- Must have a current Missouri Vet Tech license or ability to obtain MO license
- Friendly, customer service demeanor for internal and external customers.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and follow through.
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff, donors, volunteers and general public.
- Efficient organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and part of a team.
- Ability to maintain composure and professional conduct during stressful situations.
Physical Qualifications (including Lifting And Pushing)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and stand for periods of five hours.
- Must be able to walk large dogs that pull
