Registered Vascular Technologist/Sonographer - New York Area Floater

Join us at Metro Vein Centers as a Registered Vascular Technologist/Sonographer - New York Area Floater.

Position Details:

  • Location: Support all New York clinics
  • Certification: RVT or RVS required
  • Language: Bilingual in Spanish desired but not required
  • Compensation: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour

Our RVTs perform vascular lower extremity ultrasound exams for diagnosing and treating chronic venous insufficiency, working closely as an extension of our physicians to ensure efficient and effective care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and record ultrasound evaluations and post-treatment exams professionally and safely.
  • Assist physicians in ultrasound-guided procedures such as Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy and Varithena.
  • Communicate preliminary examination results to physicians for review and diagnosis.
  • Document ultrasound results and record preliminary reports in EMR.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and high-quality work environment.

Qualifications:

  • RVT ARDMS or RVS CCI certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in allied health or an Associate Degree
  • Experience with venous insufficiency studies preferred
