As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you would perform vascular ultrasound examinations of a patient’s lower extremities (and other studies as needed), balancing patient needs and maintaining an efficient workflow. You would also ensure the patient receives excellent service.

This position is part-time, working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in Maple Grove, and Tuesday and Thursday in Woodbury.

Responsibilities

1. Perform ultrasound examinations to create a Venous Flow Map for treatment planning.
2. Assist the Physician in explaining treatment plans to patients.
3. Set up and clean the procedure and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
4. Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by the treatment plan.
5. Adhere to standard time allotments for each ultrasound exam to ensure workflow efficiency.
6. Coordinate with office staff and Physicians to review the ultrasound schedule for optimal patient care and safety.
7. Maintain and develop skills through continued education and interaction with colleagues.
8. Manage equipment and supply inventory to ensure operational effectiveness.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
• Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS), or ability to earn certification within 60 days of hire.
• Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

This role is part-time, with locations in Maple Grove and Woodbury.
