As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you will perform vascular ultrasound examinations of patients' lower extremities (and other studies as needed), balancing patient needs and maintaining an efficient workflow. You will ensure that patients receive excellent service.

This is a full-time position at various Fort Worth clinics.

Pay: $38-$48/hr

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations to create Venous Flow Maps for treatment planning.
• Assist physicians in explaining treatment plans to patients.
• Set up and clean procedure, exam, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
• Perform additional ultrasound exams as required to ensure treatment effectiveness and patient safety.
• Adhere to standard time allotments for each ultrasound exam to maintain workflow.
• Coordinate with staff and physicians to review ultrasound schedules, ensuring availability and safety.
• Maintain quality standards through continued education and interaction with colleagues.
• Manage equipment and supply inventory to ensure operational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
• Registered Vascular Technologist, Registered Vascular Specialist, or Registered Phlebology Sonographer (RVT / RVS / RpHS), or ability to earn certification within 60 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of experience in vascular scanning.
