Job description

As an Ultrasound Sonographer, you would perform vascular ultrasound examinations of a patient's lower extremities (and other studies as needed) while balancing the needs of patients and maintaining an efficient workflow of the office. You would also ensure that patients have an excellent service experience.

This position works at Marlton, NJ, Monday-Wednesday, and Trenton Thursday.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform ultrasound examinations to create a Venous Flow Map for recommending a safe, effective treatment plan.
2. Assist the Physician in explaining the treatment plan to the patient, addressing the patient's specific needs.
3. Set up and clean up procedure rooms, exam rooms, and ultrasound rooms before and after each patient.
4. Perform additional ultrasound examinations as required by the treatment plan to ensure effectiveness and safety.
5. Adhere to standard time allotments for each ultrasound exam to maintain efficient patient flow.
6. Coordinate with office staff, administrative staff, and Physicians to review the ultrasound schedule, ensuring availability of technicians and maintaining an efficient patient load.
7. Develop and maintain skills to comply with standards of care through continued education and interaction with other Ultrasound Technologists.
8. Maintain equipment and manage supply inventory to ensure continued operations.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound program.
2. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT / RVS / RpHS) required within 90 days.
3. Ability to work well in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
4. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work as part of a team.
5. This position works at Marlton, NJ, Monday-Wednesday, and Trenton Thursday.
