Lima Memorial Health System is seeking a Registered Technologist II (Radiology - Diagnostic) to perform diagnostic imaging in the radiology department, ER, surgery, and portable exams. The role emphasizes radiation safety and assisting physicians with imaging procedures.

The ideal candidate is ARRT-certified, Ohio licensed, with AMA-accredited radiography training and BLS; on-call availability is required with a 45-minute respond time. Nights and full-time hours included.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA accredited Radiography Technology program or equivalent.
• ARRT certification and Ohio Department of Health licensure are required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams in radiology, ER, surgery and portable settings.
• Practice radiation protection and assist physicians with imaging procedures.
• Maintain on-call readiness with 45-minute response time.
• Work 12-hour night shifts (630pm-630am) and 80 hours biweekly.

Shift: 12 hour shifts

Days: Sunday - Saturday

Hours/Pay Period: 80 hours biweekly

On Call Requirement: Yes

Functioning within the Health System’s mission, values, objectives, procedures and policies, with the direction and supervision of the lead technologist and Director of Radiology, the Registered Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic services in radiology department, ER, surgery and portable exams. Practices radiation protection and assists physicians with imaging procedures. On call response time required within 45 minutes. Education: Graduate of the AMA accredited Radiography Technology program or equivalent. Licensure/Certification: Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Certified by the Ohio Department of Health. BLS required. . Experience: Previousx-ray experience preferred.
