We’re a premier manager of outpatient diagnostic imaging facilities, dedicated to our team members' growth and development through our internal multi-modality training program, and we want you.

Facility: Durham Diagnostic Imaging

Location: Independence Park - 4323 Ben Franklin Boulevard Durham, NC 27704 US

Position Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule Details: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities: Responsible for providing a variety of technical and non-technical duties related to the efficiency of the workflow at the imaging center. Serves as an assistant to the Technologist to ensure patients are prepared for their exam, complete the exam effectively, and start/remove IVs.

  • Screen patients prior to exam
  • Assist patients in completing electronic paperwork
  • Obtain medical history from patients
  • Escort patients to changing rooms and ensure they are dressed appropriately
  • Escort patients to and from mobile MRI or exam room
  • Assist technologist in preparing the MRI table (coil selection, changing linen, etc.)
  • Start and remove IVs
  • Maintain linen inventory
  • Research availability and obtain reports and images requested by Radiologist
  • Serve as liaison between technologist and Radiologist
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Phlebotomy certification, Certified Medical Assistant certification through AAMA or NHA, Registered Medical Assistant certification through AMT or ARMA, or ARRT registered in (R), (MR), (CT), or (M) required
  • CPR certification required

Prior Experience:

  • 0 - 2 years of experience preferred
