About The Position

MedBridge Healthcare is seeking experienced full-time sleep technologists for any SSM locations.

MedBridge is a leading provider of sleep laboratory management services and sleep therapy. We partner with hospitals and physician practices to offer comprehensive, fully integrated services for patient identification, testing, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term care management of patients with sleep disorders.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Facilitating tests and collecting data.
  2. Preparing equipment, recording activities, and analyzing results.
  3. Following proper polysomnographic procedures, including the use of electrodes, sensors, calibration of equipment, and fitting of airway pressure masks.
  4. Analyzing (scoring) clinical events, such as respiratory and cardiac episodes, and tabulating final data for review.
  5. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and laws.
Job Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or higher education.
  2. Completion of an accredited Polysomnography program preferred.
  3. Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists or as a Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred.
  4. Current BCLS certification.
  5. Certification in basic cardiac life support (BCLS) and/or CPR.
  6. Vaccination and immunization records or titers may be required.
  7. Travel may be required 10% of the time.
Physical Demands of the Job:

The physical demands include:

  1. Regularly standing, walking, sitting, talking, and hearing. Visual abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, and focus adjustment.
  2. Using hands to operate office equipment.
  3. Regularly lifting/moving up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
