Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for weekend night shifts (Fri–Sun, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am). A sign-on bonus is available, with opportunities to advance within Piedmont's award-winning care team.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, respiratory care procedures, critical care tasks in adult units, blood gas analysis, equipment maintenance, and patient education. Licensure and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences Required.
• No experience required.
• RRT and Georgia licensure required; BCLS, ACLS and PALS within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and general respiratory care procedures.
• Implement critical care procedures in adult care areas.
• Conduct blood gas analysis and monitor room equipment.
• Educate patients and manage equipment as needed.
