Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, per physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for staff.

The role requires graduation from a CoARC approved Respiratory Care program, a current RCP license, NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist credential, and PALS if working in the Emergency Room. Physical demands include lifting and movement per job description.

Qualifications

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• PALS required for Emergency Room personnel.
• Physical demands include push, pull and grip up to 50 lbs; pinch up to 10 lbs; kneel, crouch and crawl as needed.
