HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT, PRN) to join our on-site team. You will guide patients through routine and critical care, perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and support ventilation management across emergency, ICU, and acute settings.

You will collaborate with physicians and nurses, educate patients and families, and contribute to a culture of safety, growth, and exceptional patient care in a 380+ bed facility.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• RRT/RCP-State credential as Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner.
• Associate Degree is required.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Assess respiratory status by focused exams and airway patency assessment.
• Deliver oxygen support, aerosolized meds, airway clearance therapies.
• Manage ventilation and airways, invasive and noninvasive.
• Educate patients and families, support care team, assist with newborns when needed.
• Set up and maintain respiratory equipment, ensure safety and infection control.
