**Registered Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory Care**

**Work hours:** PRN; Evenings and Nights

**Here’s What You Need:**

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program required.
  • Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
  • 1 year of Med/Surg or critical care experience preferred.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) upon hire required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) upon hire required.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support, maintained quarterly, required prior to providing independent patient care.
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ICU and Emergency Department only, 90 days required.
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program, required if working in the NICU, 90 days required.
  • Good verbal and interpersonal skills, computer experience.

**What You Will Do:**

  • Review medical records and obtain pertinent medical history.
  • Evaluate patients using age- and diagnosis-appropriate assessments.
  • Apply appropriate patient care interventions according to protocols and priorities.
  • Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate assessment and individualized care.
  • Use therapeutic techniques suitable for the patient's age and treatment preferences.
  • Perform treatment procedures within the scope of your license.
