Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 2-year AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Passed NBRC Registry and clinical simulation; RRT credential at hire.
• Internship in acute care including NICU and infant deliveries; able to supervise.
• CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license; CPR within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy per physician orders following department policy.
• Maintain department productivity by monitoring workloads during shifts.
• Provide care across all ages with emphasis on patient privacy and dignity.
• May serve as relief shift supervisor when required.
