Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide and administer all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy under supervision. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time new graduates and new-to-HMH therapists.

Requirements include an AMA approved respiratory care program and an associate degree, plus NJ RCP license, NJ RRT certification, and BLS. Preferred ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications may be considered.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, Shift Supervisors, provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment as stated in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual.

$10,000 sign-on bonus offered to both full-time new graduate RRTs and full-time RRT's new to Hackensack Meridian Health.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.

• Associate degree.

• Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License.

• NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate.

• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.

Licenses and Certifications Preferred:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.

Minimum rate of $44.41 Hourly
