Job summary

Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a part-time, day shift (7a-7p) with benefits. The role focuses on delivering respiratory care and collaborating with the care team.

Responsibilities include providing therapy for diverse patient populations, performing bedside diagnostics, reviewing care plans, and educating students and new hires. Must be a graduate of a respiratory therapy program with NBRC RRT credential and Indiana license.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a respiratory therapy program.
• Must obtain entry level certification and must have a valid Registered Respiratory Therapist credential from the NBRC.
• Must have a current Indiana State license for Respiratory Care Practitioners.
• Must have current certification in CPR.
• Parkview Randallia: ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain in 6 months.
• Community Hospital locations: ACLS and NRP certifications or obtain within 6 months from date of hire or transfer; PALS and Stable preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to all patient populations for therapeutic purposes.
• Provides bedside diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Reviews and maintains respiratory care plans.
• Performs evaluations on patients and adjusts the care appropriately.
• Assists as a preceptor for students and new hires.

Education

Must be a graduate of a respiratory therapy program.
