Job Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Coos Bay, OR

Shift Type: Days

Shift Notes: Day Shift 12-40 // 72-hours per two-week pay period

Hourly Rate: $32.00 - $50.00

Sign-On and Relocation Bonus: $5,000 - $10,000 (New graduates will receive half of the Sign-On Bonus)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our healthcare team in Coos Bay, OR. This role involves assessing patient respiratory status, providing respiratory treatments, evaluating patient responses, and delivering education on respiratory health and wellness. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, professional, and compassionate, with a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of patient respiratory status using appropriate diagnostic tools.
  • Provide respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, nebulization, and airway management.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting care as needed.
  • Educate patients and their families on respiratory treatments, health, and wellness strategies.
  • Accurately document patient care activities and treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance at the assigned job location.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • Valid State Licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Proficiency in using electronic documentation systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and converse effectively in English.
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of maintaining a high standard of patient care.
