Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or otherwise qualifying Respiratory Care educational program
• Minimum Associate of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Respiratory Care
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current, active Respiratory Therapist license in the State of West Virginia
• Strong understanding of respiratory care principles, cardiopulmonary assessment, and therapeutic interventions
• Ability to evaluate patient respiratory conditions and administer appropriate treatments
• Effective communication, clinical documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient safety and respiratory care

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience providing respiratory therapy services in an acute-care or hospital environment
• Experience working with patients requiring oxygen therapy, airway management, or mechanical ventilation

• Experience supporting patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditionsStrong critical-thinking skills and the ability to respond effectively to changes in patient conditions

The ideal candidate is a Registered Respiratory Therapist with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Respiratory Care, current NBRC registration, and an active West Virginia respiratory therapy license.
