**Work hours:** PRN (as needed) to cover day shift

**Here’s What You Need**
**Education**
Graduate of AMA-approved Respiratory Care Program required.
CLIAFE must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency.
**Experience**
1 year NICU or critical care experience preferred.
**Licenses and Certifications**
RCP - Respiratory Care Practitioner upon hire required.
RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist upon hire required.
BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required.
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program required if working in the NICU, within 90 days.
**What You Will Do**
Patient Assessment/Plan of Care: Obtain and verify physician orders for therapy, review medical records, and obtain pertinent medical history.
Patient Treatment: Use appropriate therapeutic techniques, perform treatment procedures within scope of license.
Documentation: Document verification of physician orders and aspects of each treatment session in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
