Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist PRN to join a highly technical, fast-paced care team. You will perform evidence-based pulmonary care, diagnostic testing, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires graduation from an accredited respiratory therapy program, BLS and ACLS, Texas license, NBRC registration, and at least 6 months of experience; NRP/PALS within one year is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.
• NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support — must obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Currently licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Medical Board.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience.

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist PRN position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
