Job summary

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide basic and critical respiratory care for adult and geriatric patients, under physician orders and department policies. The role includes documentation in EMR, patient assessment, and supervising others as delegated.

Required credentials include CA RRT/CRT or RCP license and ACLS; BLS required, NRP and PALS preferred. This assignment is Per Diem with 12-hour shifts in Lodi, CA, offering diverse clinical experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required or preferred (some certifications will require Bachelor’s).
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Three years' technical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses prescribed therapy for adult/geriatric patients and documents outcomes.
• Administers aerosol and oxygen therapy and manages arterial blood gases per orders.
• Supervises/train junior staff and ensures proper charting and billing documentation.
• Monitors ventilator patients and ensures initial ventilator bundle orders are completed.
