Job Description & Requirements

Registered Respiratory Therapist ‐ Pediatric Intensive Care ‐ (RRT ‐ PICU)

Start Date: ASAP | Shifts: 12 N | Pay Rate: $1503.00 ‐ $1563.00

Position Details

• RRT ‐ NICU needed ASAP for 13 weeks
• Shift: 7P ‐ 7A, 3 x 12 Nights
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• General care outside of assigned ICU
• RRT or CRT accepted
• BLS, NRP certifications required
• 2 years' experience, NICU experience preferred
• VA License required
• Ratios: workload dependent on RVU basis; 580 minutes assigned out of 720-minute shift

Orientation & Responsibilities

• One week department orientation
• Shadowing and training in general care
• Third week in charge of own assignment

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience
• 2 years' experience
• VA RT license
• Certifications: RRT‐NBRC, BLS, NRP (copies needed)
• SSN and DOB required
• Work history: no more than 30 days gap in the past year
• One work reference
