The qualified RRT may be eligible for a $10,000 Sign-on bonus and up to $7,500 for Relocation.
Our Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT) serve as key members of the healthcare team by establishing personalized relationships with patients and their support systems. They practice under respiratory and ventilator management protocols with a high degree of autonomy, performing procedures such as intubations and insertion of arterial lines, depending on the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a patient advocate by incorporating education into the interdisciplinary care plan.
  • Prioritize duties based on patient needs and acuity, ensuring timely care interventions and medical orders.
  • Administer and evaluate medication therapies, transfer patients, and perform patient transports.
  • Provide routine respiratory care (e.g., ABGs, bronchial hygiene therapy) and higher-level care in critical situations, evaluating patient needs effectively.
  • Practice independently according to state requirements and standards in respiratory care.
  • Critical Care Specific: Manage ventilators, respond to code blue situations, manage airways, interpret blood gases, and follow protocols for patient care.
