Qualifications

• Must obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days of employment start date.
• Must obtain Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.
• Must obtain Neonate Resuscitation within 60 days of employment start date.
• Must obtain PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care.
• Administer respiratory care and life support to patients.
• Perform diagnostic tests for diagnosing heart and lung disorders.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. The RRT administers respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system and performs diagnostic tests to aid physicians in diagnosing and treating heart and lung disorders.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist license required.
• Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or related field.
