Methodist Richardson Medical Center in the Dallas area is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide evidence-based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will perform pulmonary care in accordance with physician orders and evidence-based protocols, supporting patient outcomes and the hospital's high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in Texas.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certifications as applicable; obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
• If certified, registry-eligible and obtain Registered status within 6 months.
• At least 6 months of respiratory care experience.

Job Description

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging Respiratory Therapist position, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide the very best care for patients. The Respiratory Therapist consistently performs evidence based pulmonary care and diagnostic testing in accordance with physician orders and evidence based protocols.

Your Job Requirements

• Currently licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCP) by the state of Texas
• Current Basic Life Support certification required
• Advanced Cardio Life Support, NRP, Pediatric Advanced Life Support where applicable certification - must obtain within 1 year of hire)
• Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• If Certified, must be Registry eligible and obtain Registered status within 6 months of hire
• At least 6 months respiratory care experience
