Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide expert respiratory care in neonatal, pediatric, and critical care settings. You will deliver care per physician orders, assess patients, and manage ventilators and lifelike support equipment.

You will educate families, participate in rounds with interdisciplinary teams, mentor colleagues, and uphold infection control and safety standards to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory program.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist (RT).
• NBRC registration and BLS certification are required; NRP and PALS may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care based on physician orders in neonatal, pediatric, and critical care settings.
• Assess patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Manage ventilators and life-support equipment; monitor equipment performance.
