Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care under supervision. Candidates must hold an Associate degree and have the NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License along with other certifications. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time new graduate RRTs or those new to the company. This position requires strong knowledge of Respiratory Care and adherence to departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• NJ Respiratory Care Practitioner License is required.
• NJ Registered Respiratory Therapist Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and administer all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy.
• Support equipment management as per the Department Policy and Procedure Manual.

The Registered Respiratory Therapist, under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Services, Technical Supervisor, and Shift Supervisors, provides and administers all aspects of Respiratory Care Therapy and supportive equipment as stated in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Licenses and Certifications Required

Licenses and Certifications Preferred

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification.
