Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care in respiratory therapy per physician orders. You will consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Preferred candidates hold ACLS and have critical care experience. Mercy offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits as part of a collaborative team focused on compassionate patient care.

Formación

• Graduate of CoARC approved Respiratory Care program.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
• NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs and mobility requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct patient care in respiratory medicine per physician orders.
• Consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness and adjust care as needed.
• Serve as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff in respiratory care.
• Perform duties as assigned.

Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.

Position Details:

SIGN ON BONUS - $10,000

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.

Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
