Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide direct patient care in respiratory care under physician orders, consulting with physicians on therapy effectiveness, and serving as an advanced resource for the care team.

Candidates must hold a current RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and ACLS is preferred. Physical demands include lifting and moving up to 50 lbs, with additional tasks as needed. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Position Details:

SIGN ON BONUS - $10,000

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
Licensure: Meets state licensure requirements and has a current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license.
Certifications: Hold the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential awarded by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). For co-workers who work in the Emergency Room PALS is required.
Other: Physical demands are attached plus push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs. Plus, pinch up to 10 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Equipment Used: All appropriate respiratory care devices.

Preferred Education: Acute Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Experience: Prefer critical care experience.
