Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Allentown, PA

Type: Full-time

Shift: Day Shift, 0645-1915, rotating holidays and weekends

Salary: $50,000 Sign-on Bonus available for qualified candidates

Job Summary

Administers respiratory care, manages pulmonary treatments, and collaborates with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies
• Manage respiratory equipment and supplies
• Perform mechanical ventilation, arterial blood gases, and emergency resuscitation
• Educate patients on respiratory therapies and devices

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an accredited RRT program
• Less than 1 year of experience
• RRT certification and NBRC registration in Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy

Physical Demands

Ability to lift 40-50 lbs, stand/walk frequently, and perform activities such as kneeling, bending, and CPR.
