Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist RRT provides advanced respiratory care to diagnose, evaluate, treat, and manage cardiopulmonary deficiencies or abnormalities, following physician prescriptions. Acts as a resource to CRT staff and may handle special projects as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program
• Current Respiratory Therapy license in the state of practice
• Registered Respiratory Therapist certification
• Health Care Provider Life Support certification
• ACLS certification required; PALS/NALS may be required for certain areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Membership in professional organizations (AARC, NBRC)
• One year of critical care experience

Physical Requirements

Includes visual, auditory, manual dexterity, mobility, and standing requirements necessary for patient care and equipment operation.

Compensation

Hourly range: $28.00 - $45.00/hr, based on experience.
