MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Los Angeles area, serving multiple counties including Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino. You will provide expert respiratory care to patients, collaborate with physicians, and uphold high standards of clinical excellence.

Ideal candidates hold NBRC RRT, California RCP license, 1–2 years of experience, and current BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC RRT credential.
• California RCP license.
• 1–2 years of clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Proficiency in mechanical ventilation, ABG interpretation, and critical care protocols.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Strong communication and critical thinking in fast-paced settings.
• Experience with EMR/EHR documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation and advanced airway management.
• Administer aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and breathing treatments.
• Perform diagnostic tests including pulmonary function tests, ABG analysis, and EKGs.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
• Respond to emergency codes and provide critical care respiratory support.
• Accurately document all patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR system.
