Job summary

Progeny Human Resource Solutions is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a full-time position in Florida. The role involves performing all respiratory care duties under supervision and administering routine and complex respiratory therapies for patients of all ages.

The ideal candidate will be an RRT with at least 1 year of experience, hold an AMA-accredited associate degree in respiratory care, possess current BLS, and have an active FL RRT license ready for use.

Qualifications

• Completion of an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree).
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Must be Registered (RRT).

Job Responsibilities

Full-Time Registered Respiratory Therapist candidates will have the following job responsibilities:

• Under general supervision, the RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) will perform all respiratory care related duties.
• Set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
• Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
• Respiratory Therapists are expected to be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader. Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.

Job Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Full-Time candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

• 1 year of RRT Experience
• Completion of an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree)
