Job summary

Montage Health in California seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner to deliver respiratory care to patients of all ages. Per Diem, 12-hour shifts, with responsibilities including assessment, therapy implementation, and documentation. RRT credential and CA license required, along with BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP desired and orientation to be completed.

Under the leadership of the department director and/or supervisor, the RCP provides respiratory care services to patients of all ages. These services include assessment and reassessment of clinical conditions where indicated, and determination, implementation, and documentation of appropriate therapies. The RCP provides education according to current department standards for patients, families, community members, students and other staff.

Experience Preferences:

Acute care to include critical care experience (ICU, NICU) Two (2) years or more experience in field of Respiratory Care preferred Education Graduate of a school for Respiratory Therapy.

Licensure/Certifications

Newly hired employees must have Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Valid California license for respiratory care. American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification is required. ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications must be obtained prior to completion of orientation and independent assignment.

$62.67 to $83.84
The hours employees work determine when a shift differential is paid.
Hourly Evening Shift Differential: $3.56
Hourly Night Shift Differential: $5.34
