Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM). You will perform general radiology, portable and fluoroscopic exams, producing high-quality images for interpretation and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include image management via PACS, assisting with scheduling, and collaborating with the team. Valid ARRT registration, state licensure, and BLS are required; prior radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Technologist by ARRT in good standing.
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist.
• BLS Certification through AHA or Red Cross.

A caregiver in this position works 2nd shift M-F 3PM-1130PM.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Perform general radiology exams, portable exams and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Produce quality images for interpretation with accuracy and without delay.
• Acquire, archive, transmit and print images via PACS.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after the exam.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Maintain documentation.
• Address equipment malfunctions, notify management and report malfunctions to the help desk and PACS administrator.
• Assist with scheduling procedures, monitor and determine priority of patients, and process billing.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in good standing
• Current state licensure as a Radiology Technologist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• One year of experience as a General Radiologic Technologist

Physical Requirements:

• Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weight and manipulate equipment daily.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $29.00

Maximum hourly: $44.50
