Must have Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ARRT R.R.A certification within 6 months, NYS Specialist Assistant License within 6 months, and operate in trainee capacity

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• ARRT R.R.A. certification within 6 months of hire date.
• Specialist Assistant License from NYS Department of Education within 6 months of hire date. Must work only in a trainee capacity until licensed.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate imaging examination appropriateness, including protocoling, indications and contraindications.
• Review imaging and facilitate appropriate procedures; obtain informed consent.
• Communicate preliminary findings to radiologist; assist in education and leadership within the division.
