Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital performs a full range of diagnostic imaging exams using fixed imaging equipment, portable radiography, and fluoroscopy to support trauma, OR cases and routine studies. The role requires independence and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates are graduates with an AA in Imaging or equivalent, hold ARRT, and state DOH registration, plus BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent.
• X‑Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health; must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist within 3 months of hire.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; if registry is pending, complete within 6 months of hire.
• BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
• May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies.
• Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team.
