Job summary

The Radiologic Technologist at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital performs a full range of diagnostic imaging examinations using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic systems to support trauma imaging, operating room cases, and routine studies. The role requires independent work and collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a community hospital setting.

Eligible graduates with an AA in Imaging and ARRT, Washington DOH registration milestones, and BLS certification are encouraged to

Qualifications

• Graduate or eligible for graduation with an AA degree from accredited Imaging program or equivalent.
• X-Ray Technician Registration with the State of Washington Department of Health; must transition to Certified Radiologic Technologist within 3 months of hiring.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; if registry is pending, must complete within 6 months from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiology exams using fixed, portable, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment.
• May support trauma imaging, operating room cases, as well as routine diagnostic studies.
• Ensure imaging exams are completed in accordance with established departmental policies and clinical guidelines.
• Serve as a clinical resource and role model, working effectively both independently and as part of the care team.
