Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Inpatient Xray area at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. The role involves performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with radiologists.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $28.55–$42.85 per hour and a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Documents patient history pertaining to the procedure on physician requisition.
• Verifies patient identity prior to procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as required.
• Collaborates with radiologist and physicians as needed.
• Operates radiology equipment and ensures proper positioning of patients.
• Maintains records per department standards.
